Pyhällönpuisto tram stop — Lentävänniemi · Pyhällönpuisto

Pyhällönpuisto is the western terminus of line 1, which began operating in January 2025 when the tram’s Lentävänniemi extension was completed. The stop takes its name from a nearby park and serves the western blocks of the Lentävänniemi district as well as the shoreline outdoor areas near Näsijärvi.

As a terminus, Pyhällönpuisto is the outermost point of the tram network in western Tampere, from where the trams turn around and head back toward the centre and Hervanta. The area is a peaceful residential setting, where green parks and the closeness of the lake stand out. The surroundings of Pyhällönpuisto offer residents a nature-close and functional everyday life.

The new terminus brought the tram right to the doorstep of the western residential area and completed the length of line 1 across the whole east–west axis. The tram departing from Pyhällönpuisto carries passengers smoothly to the centre, the shoreline attractions of Näsijärvi and the services of the whole city.
