The map shows both of Tampere’s tram lines and every stop. The base map is drawn from open data (Wikimedia Commons, background map © OpenStreetMap contributors) and reflects the situation in July 2026.

What has changed in the tram network

The Tampere tram opened in 2021. Since then line 1 has been extended west to Lentävänniemi and the network has settled into two lines. If you have an old map, check the lines’ current termini below.

Two: line 1 and line 3. In total the network has 33 stops and about 24 km of track.

Lines 1 and 3 run along the same track through the city centre for four stops (Sammonaukio, Tulli, Rautatieasema and Koskipuisto). At these stops you can change from one line to the other on the same 90-minute ticket.
