Tampere tram route planner
Choose your departure and destination stop — the planner finds the fastest tram connection and shows the changes, the journey time and the arrival time.
Plan your tram journey
The planner calculates the route across the network of both tram lines (1 and 3). Journey times are based on the median times in Nysse’s timetables, and 4 minutes are allowed for a change. The tram runs about 05:00–00:30.
How the planner calculates
Frequently asked questions about the route planner
Lines 1 and 3 meet in the city centre at four shared trunk stops (Sammonaukio, Tulli, Rautatieasema and Koskipuisto). Get off at any of these and board the other tram — within the same 90-minute ticket the change costs nothing extra.
Journey times are based on the median times of the timetable published by Nysse and the lines’ service intervals. The planner does not use real-time location — you will find exact departure times at nysse.fi.
The planner only considers tram connections. Sometimes it is faster to walk a couple of stops — check the route’s stop list and decide for yourself.
An AB single ticket costs €2.50 with a travel card and €2.80 on mobile or contactless, regardless of the distance or the number of changes. The ticket is also valid 90 min on Nysse buses.
